Commercial Roofing

Choosing a single-ply roofing system for your business structure is simple. Begin by identifying whether greases, oils, or fats are used inside your facility, assuming you have a low-slope roof. PVC is the ideal solution in this scenario because it is resistant to these pollutants. If you answered no to that question, is money a concern for you? If not, TPO is a great option to PVC because to its lower cost. EPDM is the most cost-effective single-ply roofing material if pricing is a concern. Please let us know if we can help you with your new commercial roof installation. The importance of a properly fitted commercial roof cannot be overstated.

PVC

PVC is a type of plastic that holds up excellently against the elements. Most restaurants employ PVC roofs because they are resistant to animal fat and grease. The typical lifespan of a PVC roof that has not been re-coated is about 20 years. PVC is strong, but it isn’t as adaptable as TPO or EPDM. Give us a call to see whether a new PVC roof is correct for you.

TPO

A reflecting membrane is made from a mixture of polymer and rubber. If the structure isn’t a restaurant, TPO is a potential choice. A new TPO roof can endure up to 25 years without any additional treatments. A TPO roof is less expensive to install than a PVC roof. It’s both non-toxic and biodegradable. It can help you save money on your summer utility bills by reflecting UV light.

EPDM

Rubber roof is a word used to describe an EPDM roof. A rubber membrane used on low-slope commercial buildings, detached garages, and recreational vehicles. EPDM is the least expensive of these single membranes, but it’s also the toughest. The typical lifespan of a new EPDM roof is 30 years.

COMMERCIAL ROOF REPAIR

We not only install new commercial roofing systems, but we also repair old ones. One of the most common problems we encounter is improper installation. If properly placed, a commercial roof should last at least 15 years. When a system is installed incorrectly or during bad weather, issues arise almost immediately. In addition, an ineffective system can cause problems. Cooking lipids, for example, can prematurely break down an EPDM roof and cause problems if it is installed atop a restaurant.

Lack of maintenance, poor installation, unsuitable roofing materials, standing water from poor drainage, punctures from debris or walking where one shouldn’t, shrinkage, and damaged flashing and pitch pans are all frequent commercial roof issues that require repair.
